Kaitlin is the founder and CEO of KG Consulting, LLC. She works with for profit and not-for-profit organizations, businesses, and institutions to make participants aware of their cultural identity and worldview which shapes how they see the world, others, and themselves. With this self exploration , dialogue, sharing stories, and awareness of unconscious bias, we can begin to actively work to change our inner dialogue and foster greater understanding and empathy.
Kaitlin has worked with diverse populations in a professional setting for 6+ years. This has given her the opportunity to hone her intercultural communication skills. Working in human resources, refugee services, and directing a government agency tasked with doing intake for cases of discrimination has given her the knowledge of laws and policies needed to eliminate discriminatory practices in housing, workplace, and public accommodations.
Now, she is dedicated to sharing her own experiences and knowledge to assist organizations in growing cultural diversity and creating a culture of belonging. She has a Master of Arts Degree in Intercultural Studies from Union University where she also received her Undergraduate Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language with a minor in Spanish.

The Public Leaders for Inclusion Council (PLC) is a leadership development program which equips public servants in elected, appointed, and professional positions in local, county, and state government to explore practices and policies that challenge anti-Muslim bigotry and other forms of hate while building inclusion and social resilience in their communities.

Kaitlin participated three years in a row in the Boulware Mission's event, Dancing with Our Stars. Boulware's Mission Statement is to help displaced individuals become self-sufficient through education, treatment and services.
Their focus is on recovery from the root causes that brought their clients to Boulware in the first place.
